Alan Clarke

Managing Director

Alan has held a number of senior management positions and directorships for public and private companies in both New Zealand and overseas. He has extensive experience in the healthcare sector.

Before returning to New Zealand to join Abano Healthcare in 2000, he worked in Australia putting together Australasia’s largest private medical group for SGS Geneva SA. He was then responsible for its sale to the ASX listed medical company, Sonic Healthcare Ltd, one of the world’s largest diagnostic companies. Alan is also a director of Abano Healthcare and all its subsidiary companies.

Alan has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) and a Master of Business Administration. He is a Member of the Institute of Directors.
