Richard Keys

Chief Financial Officer

Richard is an experienced senior executive, having previously worked for one of the 'top four' accounting firms and subsequently employed as the CFO and then CEO of a privately owned retirement village group. Prior to joining the Abano team, Richard spent two years working at the Counties Manukau DHB in a senior planning and operations role.

Richard joined Abano in 2002. In 2007, he took on additional responsibilities for the operations of the Group, in addition to his CFO duties. He is responsible for overseeing the performance of each of the sector businesses from a Group level, as well as acquisition activity. Richard is a director on all Abano subsidary boards and attends all Abano board meetings at the invitation of the board.

Richard Keys has a Bachelor of Commerce and the professional qualification of CA. He is a member of the Institute of Directors.
